The Trainee Dental Nurse is normally paid 8-9 pounds per hour. We apply for placements for students by sending CV to dental practices and they interview suitable candidates. We keep on contacting students and keep their updates about their course and placements. We try to contact all the dental practices through mail and calls which are located near students’ location and ask if they have vacancy opening or not and if they do, we send a CV of students there and thus, they are called for interview. If they don’t have vacancy opening, we still send them CV just in case they can contact students directly if there is a vacancy in future. It is compulsory for students to have DBS and Hepatitis B vaccination done and have its record to be selected for the interview.

Course Structure

The qualification consists of 4 headings and 17 units including important as well as supplement courses. The assessments are done through MCQ, EMQ, and OSCE.
