COURSE OVERVIEW
The NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice in Dental Nursing is a General Dental Council (GDC) recognised dental nursing qualification which covers all outcomes described within the GDC Preparing to Practice document.

After fully completing the dental nursing qualification, GDC registered dental nurse can progress their career in dental hygienist, dental therapist, practice manager, dental tutor and dental assessor. There are opportunities for dental nursing students for progression courses directly linked with Universities as well.
This qualification is crafted with the General Dental Council (GDC) learning outcomes and Skills for Health National Occupational Standards. The GDC has confirmed approval of the qualification which is listed on their website and on completion, learners will be able to apply for a registered dental nurse with the GDC.
The Trainee Dental Nurse is normally paid GBP 8.29-11 per hour in Dental Clinic. As required by the course, students themselves have to find the placement but at Forward Academic Team – College of Dental Nursing, placements for students are provided by the college through its partner Dental Associates.
It is compulsory for students to have DBS and Hepatitis B vaccination done and have its record to be selected for the interview.
