    This is Level 3 National Diploma in Dental Nursing.

  3. What are the requirements?

    Applicant must be at least 18 years old and should have valid UK visa and should be able to work as a Trainee Dental Nurse.

  4. Is there work/placement guaranteed?

    Yes, but we cannot fully guarantee it because the college will help students to get the placement interview and the placement also depend upon individual's interview. Every students will get placement support from the college.

  5. Are trainee dental nurse paid?

    Yes, at Forward Academic Team students will get paid placement.

  6. How long does it take to get a placement?

    Normally, students at Forward Academic Team have got the placement within two working weeks. But it also depends upon the individual level.

  7. How long is this course?

    12 Months with 2 classes per month on weekends.

    Forward Academic Team has been running dental nursing diploma classes in 11 different locations in the UK.

  9. What to do if I failed the exam?

    You will be given a chance to re-join the course and re-sit on the exam.

  10. How are the learning methodology?

    Dental Nursing courses at Forward Academic Team are fully blended learning. Students will be able to attend both online as well as in-person classes.

  11. How to start this course and register with the GDC?

    Once enrolled to this course at Forward Academic Team, the students are expected to get 80 per cent attendance record and will also begin their traineeship within 3 months of starting the course and should work towards completing the RoE within specified time period. Once ROE is successfully completed with the help of supervising dentist and course tutor, the student will prepare to sit for the written exam at the next available examination session in either April or November. Having successfully passed the written examination you proceed to sit for the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) which is held two/three months later. After successfully passing the three stages of the qualification-RoE portfolio, written exam and OSCE- you will become a qualified Dental Nurse. You then apply for your official General Dental Council (GDC) registration.

  12. Whats next?

    On successful completion of the Diploma in Dental Nursing you will be able to register with the British Association of Dental Nurses and the General Dentistry Council. This allows you to work legally in the dental sector and can lead to progression to senior roles e.g. Senior Dental Nurse, Hygienist, Therapist, and Practice Manager.
